Registered Nuse

We are seeking a highly motivated and supportive Registered Nurse to train and assess our Support Workers who are providing care in the community.

The successful applicant would have clinical skills to provide staff with the full range of competencies required in health qualifications.

In addition, the successful applicants will have the following:

  • Experience in assessment development and assessment validation
  • Experience in curriculum development and writing
  • Current industry experience in clinical client care
  • MUST have a current Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
  • Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills, be enthusiastic and approachable
  • High level of administration, computer and organisational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Must be able to travel
  • Develop effective working relationships with staff and clients
  • Provide a positive stimulating learning environment for staff by using a variety of techniques and styles appropriate to subject matter.
  • Develop assessment tools in line with training packaging rules and units of competency
  • Perform validation and moderation of assessments
  • Evaluate the delivery and content of the qualifications to ensure quality and consistency and cultural integrity are maintained
  • Ensure required documentation is prepared and submitted within the specified timeframe.
  • Provide staff progress and feedback reports to ICS staff as requested
  • Prepare and review all materials prior to each session to ensure necessary requirements
  • Consult with ICS staff for the set up of training facilities, equipment, catering and other required needs
  • Contribute to the pursuit of excellence through promoting and maintaining team spirit and abiding by the ICS Code of Conduct and implementing all administrative policies and procedures. Support other team members in maximising the impact of ICS activities

Experienced Support Worker

Enjoy a spontaneous variety of duties, where no two days are the same. Rostered Monday to Sunday work including sleep overs with regular hours Casual Position.

Due to the demand of our essential services, we are now seeking to employ an additional Support Worker.

About the Position…

The position will involve servicing clients, where you will be focused on delivering relevant support services such as; personal care including showering & toileting, manual handling, meal preparation, support person on social outings, medication support.

The Ideal Candidate…

The ideal candidate will be a genuine people person, with the ability to work autonomously; be reliable in attendance to work and punctual in maintaining daily work schedules.

Further requirements for the position include;

  • National Police clearance check
  • Working with Children Blue card
  • Yellow Card or Worker screening check
  • Min Cert III Individual Support or similar
  • Assist clients with medication
  • Hoist & Manual Handling experience
  • PEG Feeding experience
  • Palliative care experience
  • Reliable vehicle/ driver’s license
  • Availability to work Monday to Sunday
  • Available for an immediate start

Disability Support Cleaner

The ideal candidate will be a genuine people person, with the ability to work autonomously; have an eye for detail, be reliable in attendance to work and punctual in maintaining daily work schedules.

Further requirements for the position include;

  • National Police Clearance Check
  • Blue Card
  • Worker Screening Check or Yellow Card
  • Mental Health First Aid Certificate (highly desirable)
  • Experience working with people with a disability (highly desirable)
  • Reliable vehicle/ driver’s license
  • Availability to work Monday to Saturday between 6:00am and 6:00pm
  • Available for an immediate start
